Its my point of view, not an expert but i know things.
As i am growing up day by day, indirectly politics is interfering in my way. I have no idea what it is but i try to understand. In others point of view its really disgusting. Peoples ask me “which party are you from ?”
(you are now 21, do you vote)
What the fuck are this things. I am confuse. I dont know from which party i am. Whom to support i dont know. Congress, NCP blah blah what are those things but they sounds cool. I asked my senior, which party should i join. Many were saying go to this its good, no that is stable and one person said, ” Its your choice. Whichever party it is, if you feel they can help country to develop more and make nation prosperous, you can join them”.
A long time ago, when i was a kid. In birtamod jhapa, we hear a big loud noise, sound of a gun fire, shots. Everyone started to scream and run, i was really scared, the situation was frightening i can still remember and feel that moment. My body was shivering. I went to home and from a small window i look outside. I see peoples with gun shouting and running in a panic mode. After that incident was over and clear.
Peoples were roaming outside. They dont look normal. They look worried. We heard things like army were killed, maoist were killed, some innocent people got injured, police post has been destroyed. Me and some of my friends we were collecting and searching covers of bullets around. But the environment was silent. After that, i was in a shop. People were reading news paper and gossiping about the incident. BLAST which was a popular newspaper in that area. Conflicts and war, everyday somewhere people were dying. I used to listen old people saying its a war between maoist and king and they were fighting for equal law and rights for everyone.
Me and my friends we were talking like “This thing is really entertaining right”
Yeah its cool, battle and those gun fire ‘bhutututu’.
In future am gonna be an Army. Training, guns, wars its really fun.
My friend, ” am gonna be a maoist, there training is of next level. They have advance weapons, hmm machine guns. Yeah future comrade.
[ 2006 March 21]
Nine police and three maoist were killed when the latter attacked the ilaka a police post at birtamod in jhapa district.
[ April 19 2006]
Two demonstrators died on spot when soldiers of the Royal Nepalese Army (RNA) opened fire on pro-democracy rally in chandragadhi Jhapa. 115 peoples were injured. Nepalese army fire on peaceful demonstration participated by 50000 people. The two killed have been identified as
Rajan giri of Arjundhara VDC, Suraj biswas of Bhadrapur. The district-based source of RNA refused to say as to why the army men resorted to the firing.
We grew up and realize those things were not really entertaining. It was a really serious matter.
It was a revolution for a Change, freedom of rights, justice. War for peace.
Many lost their life in this, become martyrs, mom lost their son, many brother sisters lost their life. In the name of revolution many innocent people dies. Sorrows in family.
Those who serve their leaders for revolution are facing many things. They are the one who fight for a better country better life but now are working in foreign land, facing poverty or becoming ex rebels.
In conclusion, nobody won, nothing.
Now people are saying kingship was better.
Powerful peoples seems careless.
Now, today we all are thinking what we got from all those things? We keep saying we deserve more. Our daily slogans is “country needs a change, justice should be granted, law should be stable” i see no difference.
There are still unsettlement in the country. Unstable government, political instability and many more. More than positive side, we have faced negativity from past to now. Its a clear impact. Politics is affecting every fields Health, sports, communication, transportation including Education. We are talking hopelessly. Country needs a change, political leaders are asshole. We blame which is easy but we never take step. Like everyone says politics is a dirty game and politician is a gangster. We never intended to look it in a positive perspective from our own vision.
That beautiful song from movie balidaan.
Gau Gau bata utha
Basti basti bata utha
Yo desh ko muhaar
Ferna lai utha
When i listen to it. It gives me a goosebumps. It talks about unity, peace, nationhood, patriotism and moral values towards a nation.
We can do more for the country than we think, from every perspective.
But no, we sit somewhere and thinking no fuck everything, this country has given me nothing. Fuck government but we know the truth that we should never ask a country, we should give something to country.
I hear nowadays, the sacrifice of martyrs are now becoming meaningless. Okay, lets not hope, lets believe to make their sacrifice meaningful for the country and the future.
